We like to kick off the summer with a cool splash into the Dog Days of Summer by having a little sliding get together. Of course, we not only mean the Pork Belly Sliders our Chef Will put together for us, but also a cool slip and slide down the inflatable slip and slide we got for the event. It’s an annual soiree that you wouldn’t want to miss.
Meet Meara. She wants to balance what most of us do when new to town; she wants an economical place to live YET also surround herself by those who also appreciate the value of quality people. And that’s where we come in 😊
Our group put on our best 80’ outfits and hit the Fillmore for a night of great rock music with Appetite for Destruction, a Guns N Roses tribute band. We didn’t waist any time at singing along to all the songs while we toasted some Classic Rock tunes.
We seriously don’t think we could have laughed any harder than we did last night. Fun fact - if you laugh hard enough and long enough, it makes you cry. No we didn’t stay up all night with these blood shot eyes, we just laughed until it turned on the sprinklers! 😂🤣😂
Eventually we know that people that stay with us have to move on. After all, we are your launch pad into the city. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little reunion sometimes! Last night we raised our glasses to old stories, inside jokes, and the time the coffee maker made an entire pot of espresso. So much got accomplished that day!
Tuesday is trivia night at @sugarcreekbrewing and this week’s special guest, straight in for the NBA All Star weekend, the incomparable @icecube (strong maybe). Join the “We Thought This Was Speed Dating” team we host. First round is on us!
Let’s paint the picture. You come home at night, it’s dark, you pull up in the driveway and your environmentally conscious room mate turns off the porch light. You have the joy of walking in the dark to your door. OR….
If you’re a part of our Community, you pull in the drive, grab your smartphone and turn on the front light as well as the living room light so you have safe and easy access to your home. Yeah… we think about that kind of stuff too.
The 70’s had so much. Pink Floyd, Mic Jagger, Henry Kissinger, The Bandit, Foxy Brown, Conway Twitty… oh yeah, those are good costumes too! So why not have a party celebrating the “me decade” and pay homage with plaid, punk, and pastels? Make sure you break out the karaoke machine and sing your favorite classic. Can you dig it?
“Community Room Rental is still growing and filling not only an economic niche within Charlotte (offering rents 40-50% less than market), helping maximize city planning needs, but we also created inclusive communities that bring like-kind professionals together,” owner Jason Wallace told the Agenda.
Being a part of a Community means you also need some quality bonding opportunities. We got you covered!
