Q: How long of a lease do I need to sign? A: We have leases ranging from 6-month to year long leases. Longer leases give you a discount of course!
Q: How do you handle utility payments? A: Easy! All utilities are included. Trash, water, sewage, wifi, gas and electricity.
Q: Do you provide cable? A: We want the house to be interactive and TV seems to always shut that down. However, you are free to put a TV in your room, attach an antenna or stream content.
Q: How big are the rooms? A: Depends upon the house. Each house has rooms ranging from large master bedrooms to guest rooms. Some have large rooms above garages, former rec rooms, and many other options. Best to schedule some time to check it out for yourself and see if it fits your needs.
Q: What if I don’t like it once I move in... for any reason? A: It can be a leap of faith for some, while others just want to dive right in. Either way, our leases have a first month, “no questions asked” breakage policy. Provide us 30 days notice for any reason, and we’ll let you out of the remainder of your lease without penalty.
Q: If something else in the community becomes available, can I switch out? A: Yes, you can transition to another room or another location and we won’t consider it a break of your lease.
Q: Do you have plans to get to X part of town? A: Chances are YES, as we are constantly adding new places. Check with us on our master plans.
Q: How do I know I’ll have house mates I’ll get along with and that are truly like-kind? A: We have several steps we go through for every applicant to make sure they fit the house. Couch potatoes need not apply! Each applicant is interviewed, must pass a criminal background search, and agree to the common house guidelines. This weeds out those that just want a cheap place!
Q: How much is the security deposit and is it fully refundable? A: $400 of the security deposit and $300 is refundable.
