How do members pay rent?

Payment Application Policy: Please note that any payments made are applied to your ledger in a specific order: first to any outstanding administrative fees, parking fees, and utility charges, and lastly to rent.


Notice regarding Parking: Non-payment of the monthly parking fee will result in the vehicle being classified as unauthorized. Unauthorized vehicles are subject to towing at the owner's expense in accordance with N.C.G.S. § 20-219.2. If a partial payment is made that does not cover the parking fee, the vehicle remains subject to towing.


All Members are provided free access to our Online Portal from the beginning of the Membership process. In the portal is where a prospective member would pay any application fees, sign their lease, make maintenance requests, as well as pay monthly rent.

 

There are a couple of options for paying rent:

 

·     Credit Card – requires a 3.5% fee

·     eCheck (ACH or direct debit) - FREE

 

Either path is up to the member but we encourage eCheck as that is a free option. All credit/debit card fees go to the network and are not part of Community Room Rental’s income.

 

 

What does the Online Portal provide for Members?

 

The online portal is a free tool for Members to:

·     Pay Membership Fees

·     Communicate with our office

·     Submit maintenance requests

·     Submit proof of renters insurance
