Yes. Self-employed applicants, contractors, and gig workers may apply, but income must be current and verifiable.
Community Room Rental requires applicants to show current, verifiable income or an approved financial support structure. If you are self-employed, work as an independent contractor, or earn income through apps like Uber, Lyft, Instacart, DoorDash, or similar platforms, you may submit documentation showing consistent income.
Acceptable documentation may include:
- Recent bank statements showing recurring deposits
- App payment history
- 1099 income documentation
- Business bank statements
- Recent invoices with matching deposits
- Other documentation showing consistent current income
A one-time deposit, tax refund, or bank balance by itself does not usually count as income.
Applicants who are not currently earning income generally will not qualify until they can provide verifiable income, a qualified cosigner, or another approved financial support structure.
Prepaid dues may be considered in some cases, but prepaid dues are not a replacement for having a legitimate income source or approved support structure.
