I’m from another country and don’t have credit history or a social security number. Would I qualify?
Yes. Applicants from another country, applicants on a work visa, and students without U.S. credit history or a Social Security number may still be reviewed through an alternate process.
You may be asked to provide:
- Passport or government-issued ID
- Visa/status documentation, if applicable
- School enrollment, employment, or internship documentation
- Income verification, savings documentation, or approved support
- Qualified cosigner, when needed
No U.S. credit history is not the same as bad credit, but we still need enough documentation to verify identity, income/support, and eligibility.
